Coming soon. No phone pairing is available yet.A FEW GOOD QUESTIONS
Before the
next lecture.
Can I install Rosterr yet?
The public Chrome Web Store release is coming soon. For now, you can try the interactive preview above. There is no store download or sign-up required for the demo.
Will it work with my school?
The first version is being developed for Texas Tech's Canvas and aPlus+ Attendance setup on desktop Chrome. Other schools and mobile browsers are not currently supported. Live attendance submission is still being verified.
Does Canvas need to be open?
You'll need Chrome running and an active Canvas login. For the planned text-message feature, keep Canvas open on your computer so the extension can receive and submit your code.
What happens to my code in this demo?
It stays in this page's memory and is discarded when you reload or close the page. The demo does not contact Canvas, send texts, store your code, or submit attendance.
Can it check me in after the code closes?
No. Your instructor's attendance window and your school's rules still apply. Rosterr is a shortcut for entering the code you receive in class.
